My Grandpa passed away back in 1999. After his passing, Grandma asked me if I wanted Grandpa's clothes. I took a lot of his flannel shirts thinking that I would wear them. They ended up sitting in the closet collecting dust.

Fast forward to now. My Grandma passed away 2 days ago. We spent a big portion of day yesterday cleaning out Grandma's closet. No one wanted any of Grandma's clothes. All of the bags are now loaded up in van. I realized that they were trying to tell me something without being direct.

I think the time is now to unload Grandpa's clothes. Grandma will be buried next to Grandpa. I would as well donate Grandpa's clothes along with Grandma's clothes.

If I've not wore any of Grandpa's clothes all those years, what makes me think I would wear them now? The time is right for me to clean out closet of Grandpa's clothes.

I'm sorry for your loss.

Yes, the time might be right. Maybe those clothes will benefit someone who really needs them. :)
