It's always a little sad when Christmas is over. All that hard work, all the food eaten, money spent etc. We wait to take our tree down and put everything a way on New Years Day.

I want to keep my Christmas tree up until after the New Year's Day like on the weekend. It would be nice to take it down as it is kind of crowd here. Need to make more room. Happy New Year! :D

I don't take things down till after Jan 6, the Epiphany, little Christmas, 12th day of Christmas.

we tend to take it down on 2nd weekend of january cuz since my sis's bday is on first week of january so we leave it up for her to enjoy christmas tree then time to take it down.. ;)

My tree is still up as well, may take it down next weekend.

My mom keeps her Christmas tree up until my birthday (January 14th) every year.

We usually take it down on New Year's Day.

One yea a bunch of us piled our trees up on new years for a bond fire. The speed and intesity of the fire was a bit unnerving. Evergreen pitch is amazingly flammable. It practically made a mushroom cloud. :eek3:

I put my tree in the side yard next to the carport for the birds & critters to use during the winter. When we have snow I throw birdseed on/into the tree if I can't get to the bird feeder.

We always keep our tree up until after NYE too. We used to take it down on New Year's Day but we wait until Jan 6th because of my roommate. Lol

Our tree stays from first week of December til mid January as long as the tree is not dying and dropping too many needles. We typically end up taking it down January 6th and it gooes down to our neighbors for chopped wood for bonfires.

Here, the trash company picks up the Christmas tree and haul in their truck and then take it to the place to be mulched down just like it is recycled.

Here we have multiple areas to dispose of your tree.

Same here. I usually take mine to the local yard waste recycle center in the spring. Last spring, the tree disappeared before I could take it. Turns out one of my neighbors, who has a truck, asked another neighbor if he had any yard waste that needed to be dispose of. He said no, but pointed out my tree. I didn't mind since it was the end of winter. I hope, if he decides to help again, that he doesn't take it till March at the earliest. But not a big thing if he does.
