Three unbelievable Clerks

I was royally pissed off this morning. When I got to the gas store near our home, used our debit card, filled up to $10.01 dollars worth of gas and was instructed that "Clerk has receipt". So, I went inside store, stood in the line and approached clerk about this issue and WROTE down that "I need receipt for gas pump number 6". He put down $5 dollars and told me that gas pump is ready to go. I CLARIFIED my request saying that "Gas pump screen says 'Clerk has receipt' and that I need it." He went through the confusion and repeated exactly all over again "$5 dollars is ready at pump #6". The another lady clerk came over and punched something in and got confused. Another clerk, what seems to be store manager, got confused too so I blew up screaming "NEVER MIND!" and LITERALLY spun tires out of that area. How HARD is it to PRINT a RECEIPT for GAS PUMP #6?!?!
 
Yea I dont blame ya. I have been there and done that. Sometimes I went to gas station and the duhhhhhhh clerk dont know that I am deaf and was talking thru the loudspeaker for me to do something. I was looking around and go WTF!!! My son explained to me and then I went inside and told them how the heck do you know if I am deaf or not dont bother use the loudspeaker at all duhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!! Of course I was pissed at them. :pissed:

Aw dang - I am sorry you went thru all this. Gee - I know some hearin' people don't understand. Been thru all this before. My bf speaks for me, so I don't have to go thru all this crap by writin'. Pffft :lol:

Linux, are you sure? I thought gas station clerks didn't even have to have a high school diploma.

That aside, I'm sorry you experienced that communication challenge at the gas station!

If I were in that situation, I would simply write down- please hand me the receipt for pump #6.

If they didnt get the request the first time- I would simply roll my eyes, look at them like they are stupid and walk out. What you wanted was clearly written out, sadly most gas station clerks lack a HS Diploma, and only have a GED (which is basically a 9th grade education), Im glad most employers now require a HS Diploma in order to be hired, this will encourage kids to at least finish high school and master basic Math and English skills.

Appearently no one at the gas station had mastered their English skills. :rolleyes:

HAHAHAHAHAHA!!!! Every gas station i have ever gone to has always had idiots working there. I guess you dont even need a secondary school education to be employed by em... But thats the major down fall of this country now, lack of education which horrible sucks!
 
one time I was at a gas station and there was 2 young teens really making out and their boss was outside coming to them. What did i do? I walked away why? hell they can make out at their own time not on the job.

I hope they learned their lesson. and I was stoned so i was up for a little entertainment LOL but i didnt see them all how unfortune.

lmao. Well I'm sure they didnt lose their jobs anyways. im sure the boss would say hey quit playing tounge hockey and get back to work. it was a one time thing really. I've warn some people if i think something is going on or happening etc.

I've had an experience with Gas stations, My dad would give me cash to make a deposit on the trucks for diesel fuel, Sometimes you have to pay up front before pumping that area. So I gave the clerk 100.00 bill, My dad was done pumping diesel fuel in the trucks, I went back in the store and gave her more money because it was over 100.00, She looked at me and told me, You already paid, I told her it was over 100.00 and I also need the receipt, She said that's for another truck not yours. I'm like no ma' ma we are all together. She then goes off saying, You can't do that. :confused: I told her then, we always have done that, plus I giving you the rest that was over 100.00, She kept on ague with me non-stoppable :ugh:

My dad came in the store and said what's going on, I explained it to him and he said Listen lady, We have 4 trucks, we pumped at the same number so give me the damn receipt and no more question asked! That shut her up :giggle:

They didnt hire anybody with hs diplomas or GEDS, just retards! LOL!
Ooohh! what a frustration, i know! its terrible, i know! i went thru the same damn thing myself! I dont blame ya for yellin like that haha...

Requirement for that position is you have to be over 16 a hs drop out and willing to make 5.15 an hr :-P
 
Tons of Indian people work at the 7-11 convience store with a gas stations. They can be idiots sometimes. They even hire India people to drive yellow Taxi cabs.

I almost never go to the cashier in a gas store to get a receipt. I get the receipt printed outside at the gas pump, that's easy to deal with. :P
