How do you feel about your threads being locked? maybe threads got locked too often?

:wiggle:

Depend the reason why. Thread get locked in other message board.

Some people just need to cool down.

It hurt my feel when I don't have chance to insult someone by tell them "You're wrong! your pants' size is 1!"

well at least i get to cool down anyways when i agrue with someone in one thread, Flaming Each other. Not exactly good way to go. But i cooled down :aw: although i dont come online very often due to that.

It sucks. It's like having someone turn the lights off on you. Especially when you don't think the thread needs to be locked (which is probably the case for most OP's.)

There has to be a good reason to lock a thread such as personal attacks and heated discussions. A good debate needs to stay focused on the topic and not derail like most of them do. Its not about getting your feelings hurt, bec you are not supposed to take in debates personal.

wondering if who got the most locked threads :hmm:

My threads never get locked. But it is kind of boring when you know that the minute people start to get worked up, it will be locked.

Makes it not worthwhile to participate.

I try not to flame people on this forum. If I'm tempted to flame others, I stay out of threads. One of my threads that I started got locked. I think it was a grats to Obama on winning the Nobel Prize.

Preservation? Bias? Protection? Seeking order and control out of chaos? No spine? An agenda? Could be a lot of reasons we'll never really know. It could be the simplest of reason, too. Who knows.

my question is too simple. how do you feel about your threads being locked. :aw:

I don't really care. I don't even know how many threads I've created, but its not many. If someone at work ever told me my work is garbage, I might get offended, but I try not to put too much emotional investment on anything internet.

Wirelessly posted

Don't really care. Everything you post is private property of the forum owners. Don't like it? Migrate to another forum.
