That's no way to think. I'm referring to anything's possible. Something may happen between now and then that might make me choose how and where I want to live.

Different location, yes. I know I won't be living in Chicago 25+ years, when I have already spent 1/3 of my adult life in this region. I have been here since 16, and I am 30 now, meaning I have lived here in this region almost 15 years.

But what if you die at 40? that would mean you spent 2/3 of your adult life in chicago.

I am highly doubt Chicago can afford the renovation, because people are starting to leave, and Chicago may be next Detroit in 2034. :Ohno:

Detroit has went bad for very long time since Chicago had decline and rebound in other decade, also population in IL is growing due to mostly immigrants like California. Chicago has a lot of economic powers and they only need fix the issue, especially pension.

2008 financial crisis cause extremely hard on Chicago, but it was pretty boom before 2007-2008.
 
I hope that those proposed additions would help decrease those infamous Chicago murder. It would be nice if Chicago is able to afford all those constructions. I bet there will be an under the table dealing or 2.
