Hi everyone!
I'am here to become part of alldeaf.com because I want to learn more about deaf culture, sharing all your thought and opinions.
I'm known as ASL as I learned for many years since I was a young girl. I used to have hearing aids for both ears, and then now I have a cochlear implant. Honestly, I don't really like wearing implant, but still, I'm wearing to help me to communicate with people around me. Cochlear Implant is not same as hearing aids, it is really different.
I was rasied in a hearing world and honestly, I'm only girl who have hearing loss in the family, or at least I think.
At high school, most students and teacher known me as deaf or hard of hearing. I'm really ok with that! They can call me deaf or hard of hearing whatever they want.
I'm more than happy to share my thought and opinons with all of you!
:P
