This is really sad, but indeed, makes you think about "Right To Die"

I've been following her story. She has a huge brain tumor which was now causing daily seizures, strokes, memory loss and horrific migraines. It was beginning to get difficult for her to breathe or even speak. I think she is a very brave young lady. I support her decision and respect that it was her and her families choice. If I am ever in that situation that is exactly the way I would want to go. RIP Brittany Maynard.

There is a problem with 'right to die law' some insurance companies will try
refuse to help you live like this woman. When I was health aide insurance
companies were cutting back on my client care and meds . One client needs to take a pill 2x a day and his insurance company cut it down one pill per day. This law is great for people that are in real pain and want to dies but could be used to kill people that insurance companies feel are not worth saving.

It very hard thing to comment on but when insurance companies get involved as you state WDYS it becomes business and that awful.
I could not get Grums link but guess it similar..Some say proper terminal care and it should not come to taking life and die pain free In Holland euthanasia is used but I read people also encouraged to do it by families, very uncomfortable situations to be in

sure it can be uncomfortable yup.....as family members don't neccessary share entirely same belief, opinions do vary and hence can cause friction and anixety for sure

Sad but that's her right. My aunt was recently diagnosed with brain cancer so see how it goes but she has been having seizures lately.

I am sorry to hear that , my best friend dies from a brain when she was 40 years old. She was the same as me our birthdays were 5 days apart and the same year. She dies about a couple of weeks before her first grandchild was born. :(

I made a living will or made my own decision that if I want to die in the future with terrible pains that I could not stand. I would rather die if the pains continue through out my ordeal. I hate pains. I would rather be free of pains so that I have dignity and to be at peace with my Creator.

Yes, Ms. Maynard had that right to die if she could not tolerate the pains.

I watched my husband gone through with lots of pains (had to use morphine to stop the pains but it was getting worse with time). I also saw that he cried with so much pain and hard to breathe before he died. There was no living will to help the doctors and nurses to respect his death early. He need that.

Rest In Peace, Brittany Maynard and my husband. :(
