Them telling u ,u cant or can do something .luaghing ...,they have no right to tell u cant or can its the talent u have.that makes you successful .atude you have .never anyone tell u no.I want a food truck what I want..so go for what u want IN life.just me and my two since.

VR only can do is to lead you to the right path. Vr dont find you a job or create a job for you. Whenever you find that you feel with your talents you are capable of. Vr only can help is to talk to them about you then give you a job. I had vr in the past and they were helpful for allowing me to think harder and did my own then with vrs help . I got jobs over years. Vr is not a magic bullet or anything ha.

One with a turbo ....haha lol... So i race down hunts point at Night in bronx...where they drag raíce ubr right.! About vr bit still dont like them They made me feel kinda way . Well anyway we will hknc..

Not sure I understood the OP...a "food truck"?...maybe a Hot Dog Stand?...Have heard that in my City, they range from $13,000 and up and sometimes, the "disabled" get them for free.....I've Never known or seen a deafie operating one tho'....not an easy job...standing in the cold, heat and rain....robberies and the operators do have to go through a hell of a lot for licensing purposes....

Really? Has changed a lot since my youth. They were very helpful at placing me in a group home and in a job as a janitor.

Of course after I managed to escape and make my own life it's been good, but I am still very bitter.

For me it was mid to late seventies. It's weird how people never get over some things, even if the rest of life was good.

I am sorry what VR did to you. It was very wrong.

Remember, VR budget is tight and limited. Federal budget cuts. I suggest you need to go to CBVI to get yourself evaluated (10 day Diagnostic Vocational Evaluation). DVE helps you to understand your strengths and weaknesses.

If you mention that you have vision issues, then can you drive a food truck? I am curious.

Yes, exactly!! You would get a food truck with turbo diesel and then plan a drag strip races with other food trucks. See how you stack up with other people. It would bring you closer to others in food business.

Well I won't driving a truck, lol good god no..but I do have friends who drive.I do cook good food.I want a vegan or vegie..food truck no meat will be served.my dream is to cook ,for a living .I just don't think because o have blind and deafness should stop me..maybe not full time chef ./ cook what ever..but I'm doing no one uncontrolled my future..
