thieves BUSTED!

Yea, very stupid! I am sure more gas stations will install alarm on these tanks making sure no one is stealing these liquid gold!

Investigators continued to question the men about how they got the pump to operate without needing to pay, police said.

Investigators believe a PDQ Foods, 1216 Northwest Highway, also may have been hit early Thursday. Investigators had not been able to determine the exact amount of fuel taken because of a computer problem at the station, police said.

According to a police report, an officer observed a heavy volume of traffic at the closed station about 3 a.m. Thursday.

The report states that when the officer checked one pump it read that it was out of service, but it turned on when the officer lifted a handle.

Never thought that it might be possible to hack into a gas pump . . . inside job?

You see red pu truck with blue trailer, do you have any idea what they are doing?

On the floor of the trailer, there is door there and thieve would open that door, then go to that "manhole" where the gas tanker deliver the gas into the station tank, thieve open it up and put hose in there and using pump to draw diesel into the tank inside the trailer. Clever because no one can notice until check the level of underground tank. After suspecting losing fuel, the owner had to review the tape, BUSTED that trailer!

Took about a month for them (gas owner and police) to figure out!
