There could a be COLA Increase on SS Checks in 2012!!

I personally will believe it when I get my papers from Social Security saying so. I have no faith in most news organizations anymore.
 
Yeah..then 4 years later, they will say... "We are running out of money!"

Yeah I know what you mean!! I did say we COULD get an increase in SS in 2012. I am not going hold my breath on this one. And if we do get an increase
SOME people insurance rate could up. When I was health aide my clients that lived in senior housing said when they got an increase in SS their rent when up too! My condo fee is going next year so if we do get the increase it will being going toward my condo fee! CRAP!! I hope we get the increase so it help cover my condo fee! I wonder if that chicken coop I used to lived is still around, I may need to move back in!

I didn't say that you did. I just let you (and others) know that there was another similar thread.
 
Regardless if they increase on SS checks by what 3.5%, still not enough. I am not complaining but some seniors is having hard time paying off their bills because SS is not enough and still will not be enough anyway.
