if we could shrink the earth's population to a village of 100 people, with all the existing human ratios remaining the same, it would look like this..

there would be..

57 asians
21 europeans
14 from the western hemisphere (N & S)
8 africans

52 would be females
48 would be males

70 would be non-christians
30 would be christians

89 would be heterosexual ..
11 would be homosexual ..

59% of the entire world's wealth would be in the hands of only 6 people and all 6 would be citizen of U.S.

80 would live in substandard housing ..
70 would be unable to read ..

50 would suffer from malnutrition ..
1 death
1 near birth

only one would have a college education.

only one would a own computer..

.. I would say, suddenly feel so forunate? but seemingly there will be no more deafies?

this reminds me, what would you do if you saw an endangered animal eating endangered plant?

 well, there is a lot to live folks.

wow never thought of it like that..how interesting thanks for sharing :)

Offer the endangered animal a different snack to distract it.:cool2:

Wow, that sure is a lot of people who can't read. Interesting ratio with only 100 people and I get the picture, wow!

I can agree.. but remember, would be.. I found this off internet a long time ago and had found it in a box. are you able to google it up? :)

ha ha bottesini...very funny. what snack did you had in mind? I think I would take pictures of them.. kodak moments are forever and can hope the animal gets full before eating half.

or, I can presume animal could 'poop' out the seeds? :hmm: depends on the plant actually.

seen it before, but sure its an interesting expression of population proportion

89 hetero and 11 homo?

That's, either, a radical or conservative estimate.

This has been passed around since the early 90s. I wonder, if updated, what the statistics would be today.

I wouldn't say conservative, sorry I disagree, however it might be more acurate to say 7 of 100 could be Bisexuals, and chances are; of that a majority of that is the females.
