I can't fix it!! This just happen tonight and I am not able to wear a HA in my right ear for every long as it hurt my TMJ!! There is no way to get the broken piece of tubing out of my ear mold so I can try to put the tubing from my right HA in it. Does anyone have any ideas how to get the broken piece of tubing out of my ear mold without breaking my ear mold too?

Jeweler's pliers or a very thin ended tweezer.

I've used a 1/16 drill bit to push the other half out and twisted the bit with my fingers to get the old glue & gunk out.

I do not have any tools like that. It would have to happen on a Friday night!! GRR ! I ever since my car was T Boned by teenage driver, who was found to 100% at fault my hearing in my right is not the same. Sounds are not a clear as in my left ear.

I thought of that , the tubing broke off way inside the ear mold. I had tubing get hard but it never broke in half , it just fall out of the ear mold. I wonder if the tubing today is of poorer quality like everything else!

Thats why I bought a pack of 5 tubings from ebay to keep at home for emergencies like this. I been in your shoes before and was stuck till I had chance to go to hearing center. I wouldnt try to use old tubing from other mold. it will just crack due to age and exposure to air.

If you have a tubing ready - just cut the tip off the q tip from one end and use the shaft to push old tubing out.tada!

Here's a link where you can buy tubing and supplies to do it yourself if you need to again or just want to.

I change my own tubes before they get dry and cracked, and it is not difficult.
