A man is driving along a deserted road in winter with his wife, his kids, and his mother-in-law.
Out of nowhere, a skunk runs in front of their car. He slams on the breaks but hits it anyway. He stops the car and gets out to look at the skunk, which is injured but still alive. His children are distraught.
"It's shivering," says one. "It must be cold!"
"We can't just leave it here," says another. "It"ll die!"
Turning to his mother-in-law, the father says, "Put it between your legs to warm it up."
His wife turns to him and says, "But what about the smell?"
He says, "She'll just have to hold its nose!"
