It's all a matter of perspective. Castor oil is ICKY, I've been there and done that. Algebra is nowhere near as icky. However, you can down a mouthful of castor oil in 15 seconds (especially if you hold your nose) and you're stuck with doing algebra for however long? I'll take the castor oil.
