"The Palin haters has turned me into a defender"

Just like the Obama haters have turned me into an Obama defender.

That's great to hear. It's also great to hear that people like the idea of a $1.4 trillion dollar deficit in a mere 9 months in office seen as a plus, too.

And I suppose you endorse the lies by Palin and the deficits by Bush? Granted the source that I have quoted isn't as neutral as i'd like but he raises a point there. Where was the outrage when Bush raised a deficit?

Here's a source that shows a long history of deficits under various Presidents. The author of the article which has the chart that I've linked the chart to has indicated that for the last 78 years we have operated under a deficit under both Democratic and Republicans and that they worsen under recessions.

There is no reason to encourage this topic to continue. The chanting begins softly at first....4 more years....crushing deficts....postal Conservatives....
If the deficit bothers the OP, I am all for more of it. Lots of it. Not worried about offspring or the future. Just want to make the lunatics go postal. Wonder if FoxNews will give coverage to that?

I don't even like Obama, and I spend too much time defending him.
I am like you. Never cared for him much, but it was the lesser of two evils on Election Day. Now I want him to serve 2 full terms, just out of spite.

I've always been critical of Bush on the deficit spending and the presidents before him. What Obama has done is to spend nearly 5 times the deficit spent by Bush is nothing but an irresponsible act against the American people. Glad to see you're still not critical against Obama's massive, massive spending spree that makes all the other presidents' spending look rather small. You simply cannot borrow forever. Now, all of sudden Obama gets this "epiphany" where he "gave his sternest warning yet about the need to contain rising U.S. deficits." Totally laughable and totally such a hypocrite he is. Who the hell does he think he is lecturing Americans about spending too much when he himself made sure we're $1.4 trillion dollars in the tank already?? And his comment was made in China, too. Wanna bet that the Chinese gave a bit of a tongue lashing since China is the biggest lender to U.S. than any other country in the world with well over $1 trillion dollars worth? They want to make sure they get there money back. Hence, Obama's petulent little tongue lashing at America with his fake but hypocrite stern warning. Hey, Deafskeptic, how about being critical of Obama's massive spending for a change? All I hear is nada.

Fine. Let's see that unemployment rate go up even more over the next 7 years.

spindoctor much?

Hey, you just proved my point when you wouldn't even try and criticize Obama for his $1.4 trillion dollar deficit spending in *9 months* (which is about 4 to 5 times as much as Bush 2008 year deficit). I think the spin is entirely yours with blindfold on.

Anyone want to bet...

How much the new government will skyrocket the existing debt once Obama's out of office?

Spin... spin...

I SMELL FEAR!

Doesn't make any sense since this existing govt *IS* currentlyy skyrocketing the existing debt much faster. That's like around $250 billion dollars or so on interest alone. Makes no sense to assume what the next administration might be like because it's the current one people should be worried about.

That's why I asked for people to put down bets.

It's going to keep going up and up even when Obama's out of the office.

Not if we actually, finally take the bull by the horns. Not if you have people in office who are of the conservative types, not if we can finally invest in our own natural resources and get away from foreign oil and use our own. Why send $500 billion to other countries for their oil when we get all of it here in North America? And establish our own timeline, smartly and conveniently, on the path for better, cleaner and renewable energy sources. It makes no sense to wait but to act now and slow down the deficit spending so the ship will be easier to turn around for the next administration. For people to sit on the sideline and not criticize Obama for his massive, massive deficit spending (but screamed at Bush for his spending) is to live the life of a lie.

Bush had 8 years. Yes, people bashed him, but it wasn't a daily assault on him.

Geezus. Now you know why people become defenders, even though they don't like the guy representing them. If people are not bashing Obama daily,, maybe then people would actually CARE about the government's budget rather than writing off the people who are screeching 24/7 as loonies?

Sure it was a daily assault. All presidents experienced that.
