Toward the beginning of the year, the company G2 Research released a new bullet, called the R.I.P., for reasons that will appear obvious when you view the videos below, and it has taken the ammunition market by storm. So much so, that folks are STILL trying to find out where to buy some, and to date, no newer ammunition has outdone it!

Here are the specifics of the 9 mm version, as reported earlier this year in an article published on Conservative Infidel:

* 16″ Penetration
* Up to 6″ diameter spread
* 96 gr projectile
* 2″ grouping at 25 yrds
* 1265 FPS / 490 Muzzle Energy
* 9 Separate Wound Channels
* Precision Machined
* Solid Copper / Lead Free
* Defeats all known barriers such as sheet metal, sheet rock, windshields, plywood, heavy winter clothing

Now, watch the following two videos to see this baby in action!

oh my god..... this should be added to Geneva Convention's prohibited weapons....

Gimmick. All 9mm will go through sheet metal, windshield, cinder blocks, etc. Penitration seems typical and most high end ammo goes to a lot of trouble to keep the projectile in one piece as bullets have better stopping power if they don't fragment.

I carry Underwood Ammo 10 mm. It will do all that and more.
Technical Information

  • Caliber: 10mm Auto
  • Bullet Weight: 135 Grains
  • Bullet Style: Nosler Jacketed Hollow Point
  • Case Type: Brass

    Ballistics Information:
  • Muzzle Velocity: 1600 fps
  • Muzzle Energy: 767 ft. lbs.

Also their 220 Grain Hard cast is my choice for Back country carry!

That ammo is a gimmick.

even a little 22LR with the right placement will kill someone!

Penetration is over rated. ask any surgeon. its all about wound cavity. the temporary displacement caused by dissipation of energy within the target. no exit wound is best as that means 100% of the energy dissipated within the target

Im sure you were on the bandwagon to ban Black Talon ammo because you think it was designed for killing black people! this is how stupid the anti gunners are:rifle::rifle:

a penetration strength is absolutely important especially for HP because when a bullet splits apart, it loses its penetration strength. there was an issue with firing a HP round at a subject wearing thick jacket.

this company was showing off that it's just as strong as FMJ.

so why not carry a little 22LR? it's cheaper and lighter.....

I did not say it wasn't important. I said that this ammo doesn't penetrate deeper than any other good defense round. The issue with HP and a thick jacket isn't penetration. It's that the hollow part of the bullet gets filled with cloth and the hydro pressure does not open the round there for the bullet creates a smaller wound channel and possibly over penetration. The best bullet design for maximum disruption has a flat wide front. That is the shape of an opened HP. If it fragment (like the ammo where talking about here) it will cause less tissue devistation.
