There are things that I am excited about like pairing the ComPilot with my cell phone and cutting down on what all I carry but I decided I wanted to compare these things.

Frustration from wait for HA to come on. With my old analog turn the switch on and it was on.

It is not doing it as much as at first but I get the urge to cuss out whoever designed the hearing aids to change volume on their own,. I want to set it where I want it and it stay there!!!!!

Frustration with wait when going between regular mike and T-coil for public FM system. I wanted to be listening to the FM system at church and quickly turn to the regular mike during the part where comments are made by members of the congregation not using the FM mike. I found that there is a delay (with tones) and I lose the first of what is said and the rest then makes no sense! This is a problem when switching in either direction.

Why oh why are the connectors for all the rechargeable items mini-usb when the cell phone world has adapted micro as a standard??? This leads having to juggle an additional charger just because Phonak feels they need to be different.

Wish the ComPilot had light indicators of which program number I was on. The voice is just noise to me I need to count the tones to follow which program I am going to.

Your Audi can just turn sound flow off and that will solve your problems. My friend has her Naidas turn on, on her program she likes and not sound flow. Or keep it on Sound flow but put the sensivity down to very slow and the volume won't change all the time.

That's why I like the myPilot better or just to use my Naidas rather then the ComPilot remote side.

The SoundFlow may have sensitivity turned down. You notice I said it is not doing it as much.

The ComPilot has the advantage of being a multi-use accessory. In addition to the remote control function I have it paired with a cell phone. There it is mainly used to know when someone's greeting ends at the start of a cell phone call (using CapTel not just listening) so I can say something to keep them from hanging up before all of their greeting has been captioned. Also, I have forums (including this one) sending an email when posts are made to threads that I subscribe to. It will transmit that beep even to the other end of a 35' long ranch style house that is made of steel.
