The five-year-old with a six pack: Child bodybuilder in record books after TV stunt

:eek3: I am hopin' that he is not goin' to be a bully in school when he grows up.

I have some problems with it because developmentally, it is unhealthy. Kids enjoy eating candy 24/7, but that doesn't mean we allow them to do it.

Sure, it is great to keep the kids in shape but to go afar like this; That is where it should have draw a line to stop right there.

I just can picture that 5 year old kid at 14 years old ending up looking like Arnold Schwarzenegger's post body building days with all those flabbiness coming out loose. That is if, the kid does not keep up with his exercising routine.

Not to mention which, he is at risk for blowing out muscles and tendons because a 5 year old body is not developmentally capable of handling this kind of physical stress. It is exactly why doctors recommend that a child reach a certain age before engaging in any kind of weight training.

Certainly.

It should be done in moderation. Also, I'm a bit taken back on how the parents are allowing this to happen. It isn't my place to say so, but, this is just a bit extreme to do so.

Now let's see if a 25 yr old guy can win the arm wrestle with a 5 yr old body builder...
