But that Deaf adult gets interpreters and VRS, paid by someone else, for the rest of their life too. Not to mention VR as well as SSDI if they quailfy. All the research has shown that implanted individuals "cost less" in a lifetime than "traditional Deaf"...(but you guys don't believe the research because hearing people are out to get Deaf people :roll
I would say that the numbers are actually probably pretty even.
