Interesting article but I don't believe for a second that you just suddenly stopped being gay:

He admits he wasn't exactly a full fledged homosexual BUT his view, while understandable, is quite interesting although he makes too many blanket generalizations.
 
Sounds to me like he's a bisexual that went through a long period of dating men only and then came into a phase of life where he was interested in women (again). Saying he stopped being gay just sounds ridiculous, by the way, cause being gay isn't something you do, it's something you are.
