Bear in mind that it may be a combonation of the type of hearing loss they had (for example if they had hearing but then lost it) the fact that they may have very hyperinvolved parents and so on.
There are kids who have hearing aids who didnt need spoken language therapy. That doesn't mean that everyone with a HA doesn't require intensive spoken language therapy.
There are still hoh kids(nereologically normal no other problems) who have spoken language issues.
