Hey all, thanks for your thoughs and prayers! Jeremy & I just got home from the hospital with our newborn baby boy Nathan around 4 pm today. Nathan is sleeping right now so peacefully.
The labor & delievery went so well and everything went so great! I was in labor on May 20th but was admitted in the hospital the day before. They got me started on pitchon and another stuff to start labor through IV and I got treated with antibodies because of Strep B group. I'm fine now though! I got dilated quickly and I got epdurial when I was 3 cm. It was so nice without any pains at all!!!! I got dilated very quickly and the nurse told me to start pushing so I did. My mom, my husband Jeremy & the interpreter named Linsday was there with me including the nurses & my dr. I was put on more oxygen also. I started to push and it wasn't a lot of pushing. It went vey quickly & my dr. helped by using the vaccum to take the baby's head out...I had one more push then boom...the baby's out!!! Jeremy cutted the cord and the baby's name is Nathan Xavier. Dang, Nathan is a handsome baby with lots of blonde hair & blue eyes! While the nurses was taking care of him, my dr. fixed my private area and he gave me some medcation to take home due to hemmorrids (sp). After that, I tried breastfeeding and it doesn't work. The baby rejected so I am feeding him now by forumla. Then things got cleaned up then my grandparent, my dad, and my brother David came to see me and visited the baby for a while before he was taking back to the nursey room for wash ups, etc. We had KFC for dinner and it was yummy. Nathan was also circumized (sp) and had shots. His hearing test passed but will take it again in 6 months to make sure just in case.
Nathan Xavier was born on Thursday, May 20th 2004 at 2:37 pm. He is 7 lbs. 8 oz. & 21 inches.
If you guys want to view his picture with short information, go to http://www.stjhhc.org and click on Nursey then when you see May 20th with his name Nathan Xavier then click on it. You guys will see a picture of him with the short information. Enjoy!!!!
