Yep, I am planning on going to the Powwow during the weekend right here on First Nation reserve (reservation for Indians) and I am looking forward starting tomorrow at 12 pm. I hope the weather will look good and hopefully not rain much. My husband and I will just watch the young and some of the old people dance the traditional dances. Will be looking for some good native food like Tacos, Scones (frybreads) and burritos, whoo hoo, here I come.
We're just doing the "usual"....board games, boys playing football, pool, guitar hero & skateboarding...may get out to the park by the St. Johns on Monday if the weather is good, but it's supposed to rain here all w'end....
Watching TCU play in the new stadium tomorrow. Golf Sunday, 36 holes. 4 high school football games Monday in the new stadium. And more Hooter's wings than the Surgeon General would approve of.
Today which is Saturday is very cold and I don't know where the cold front came from. Was it from the West? Or was it from the Hurricane Earl (coming from the East)? Also it rained later in the evening around 7 pm. Very weird to have cold weather at the Powwow ground.
Still more Powwow here tomorrow and I hope it will be nice this time and hoping for a warm weather too.
