Hmmm....interesting. Pretty much played a simulated "video game" to study reaction time rather than real world surroundings. And yet only 8 percent of all drivers at any one time is talking on a cell phone. It'd be interesting to see how many were using hands-free cell phones that resulted in accidents. Though I talk all the time to my passenger as we discuss business and such. My eyes are still on the road. Some distraction, yes. So is screaming at my radio during political talk shows while I listen, too. So is eating. But I don't yak 24/7.
Though lucky me I pull over for a phone call or ignore it til I get to my destination first. The distraction is much too easy there.
Just wait until a study comes saying that signing and driving is even worse.
