I went and see that movie on opening night so, "Terminator 3: Rise of The Machines" with well known austraian actor, Arnold Schwarenzzenger, as T101 in the pervious Terminator movies...

The first Terminator movie was in 1984...that's almost 20 years ago.

Terminator 2: Judgement Day, when T101 returned as a reprogrammed alley as protector of John Connor, filmed back in 1991.

Now, in 2003, the war is getting near, and T101 returned again and faced against the most powerful villain in history. A female cyborg who is able to remote control all kinds of machinery...even T101. can transform into anyone like T1000 can in T2...she is much powerful than T1000.

So, I seen it tonight...and you want my opinon? Well, I was kinda expecting that movie to be ALOT cooler than I thought...but everything...the actions...the thrills...the stunts...the fights...etc were all cool but...the only thing that bugs me is the ending...the ending was strange, actually.

There is no telling if Terminator 4 could be made, so I dunno...Terminator 3 was cool, but I think Terminator 2 was a classic.

So, in my opinon, I think Terminator 2 is better than Terminator 3.

I give Terminator 3 a 7.0

and I gave Terminator 2 a 8.2

and I gave the orginal Terminator a 8.0

So it seems that Terminator 2: Judgement Day was proably the best Terminator movie i've ever laid my eyes on

Agreed, Terminator 2 remains the best, even the first one is better than the third.

But I have to say that the new Terminator is still... entertaining. But it doesn't live up to the previous Terminator movies.

But it still did well, I loved how they did the ending by staying true to the title.

Rise of the Machines!

It has come out already?? T3? Gee...I'm looking forward to it. Terminator 2 was partially filmed in Fremont near CSDF back in 1990. A few teachers from CSDF told me that they had felt the explosion when the T-2000 was chasing Sarah, John and the original Terminator through the building where Dyson had built the original Terminator from...remember? The building that the t-2000 crashed trhough the window from his bike to the helicopter as the building exploded.

Is the Terminator the good guy or the bad guy in part 3? Part 1 is alright but Part 2 is awesome!

He's the good guy, but there is a part in the movie where he get all screwy and goes bad for a bit.

I take it that you've seen it in the theatres with the open captions, hey? I will have to keep my eyes skinned for some open captioning specials around Melbourne in Australia as it doesn't come in very frequently with open captions. :( Oh well...if I do get the chance, I will go and watch it...but if not, then here's waiting for the dvd to come out. :mad2:

Is that reason why there is Terminator 3 because on Terminator 2, at the metal factory where T101 was fight with T1000. It accident leave T101's left arm leave on the gear. Remmy? It's possible for after end of story that fellows could discovery it. Then the history route change - more bit delay in years.

Hey, why are you spilling what's happening in T3 for those who haven't seen the movie? Don't spoil it for them. :/ Just simple say that T3 isn't what you expected, good, or awful. Not if Arnold is a good or bad guy.

I haven't seen T3 yet but what i have seen commerical that make me suspect that it would have been T4 ... Know why ??? think about what T2 has done said by young John connor as He said that he would sent him back to 84' when he is about 45 years old and during world leader . so that mean that T3 John Conner look like in late 20's would be that answer ?? also , another suspect that whoever own the company that has been destory in T2 but it could be in back door informations transfer to safest storage to another bldg or place ? Also, could be that Old Dr i forgot his name... who was in T1 and T2 .. which he finally witness the true action that John's mother has been warned them about the future.. Could he help them out of mental hospital ? I am sure that T4 John will finally meet his real father before he send him back into 84' ???

I'm not sure what year it was supposed to be in Terminator 3 but I'm just assuming it is now.

But I believe that they did say that the nuclear war would had began back in 1997 according to Terminator 2 or am I wrong?

Perhaps, they delayed it?

YEAH BUT remmy that John and his mother has change some history through out the year so it could be change the years date as little confused does it make sense ???

God,

We better not get serious here. Why?

It's unrealistic, why?

How is it possible that somebody would come here from the future and if they wiped out something that could cause the robot's existence to... become non-existence.

Then how would they wiped it in the first place?

Now, my eyes are crossed from trying to figure this out!

Time, a very complicated mystery to figure out.

Argh!

If that did happen, then the universe itself would just blow up or something because that would be too much.

It's the same with Back to the Future.

Yes I understand what you are talking about...time travel is not possible to go in the past.

Imagine a pool table. Somehow, you set a vortex in the center of the table. You roll a ball on the table into this vortex...the ball is supposed to go back in 3 secs ago from the time it entered the vortex. What happens 3 secs ago? It comes out hitting itself, while it was rolling toward the vortex, out of entering this vortex. It stopped itself from going into the past. How did that ball come out of the vortex if the original box didn't go in the vortex in the first place?

Aw, man! Although, I like the first T1 and T2 -- and all is about time travel and changing the velocity of events. It always befuddled my mind cos I simply just cannot grasp the concept of time travel. I guess it's because it hasn't happened in reality. :)
I realise it can be made possible some day here, still it will be awesome and at the same time, scary because we won't know what will be affected if we did develop time travel.
Those movies plus Back to the Future series -- has given us an insight of what could happen if time travel was real.

Now these Terminator movies showed us how fucked up Einstein's theory of Time and Space is!

Seen both original and T2 but waiting on T3 to come out on dvd.

IMO I prefer the ORIGINAL after all it started the story.

John's mother, Sarah Conner died in 1997, if you didn't know that

I saw terminator 3. this is the biggest hit movie ever this summer. but not nearly as good as T1 and T2.

Terminator 3 is better than matrix 2 if u asked my opinion. I like highway actions on t-3 over matrix 2...

by the way, since i watched T-3. i believe terminator will be back for t-4. because it's not over!
