JACKSONVILLE, Fla. —
An attempted robber fled a Jacksonville bank after a teller did not comply with his demands for money and told him to fill out a withdrawal slip.

The suspect was wearing a green jacket with a hood when he entered Wells Fargo on Edgewood Avenue and demanded money in one of two reported bank robberies Monday.

The suspect fled after the bank teller did not comply with his demands, according to police. He did not threaten the teller or show a weapon, according to officials.

Officers responded to the reported robbery around 11:15 a.m.

The suspect is described as a 6 foot 2 inch 160 pound man who is between 40 to 45 years old. He was last seen headed toward Lem Turner Road on foot.

There were customers inside the bank at the time of the attempted robbery, according to police.
