First this will probably view this as a pro CI post. Along with being HoH (progressive), I am a techie and find the technology fascinating. I think that a technical view of CI would illuminate the debate.
 
how does this illuminate the debate?
when others like myself are not at all discussing the circuits and atom flows of the tech?
unless your debating yourself?
 
You gave classified the CI as evil and have no knowledge of how it works. Evidently you have a problem with spoken language since everyone should sign. Also unemployment among the deaf is horrific. Also with all the violence out here today, it helps to hear. In the natural world hearing is the first alert to danger.

i do NOT classify CI as evil. i have never any place made that statement. pls engage me on the actual statements i do make. and stop spreading falsehoods about what i think or state.

further i'm well aware how CI works, i've even researched the entire historical development of them,

i am Deaf, ive been around the block, in more then one way, trust me when i tell you im no stranger to violence. so that shtick wont fly with me.

now..

lets actually discuss the real issues here shall we.
 
You have inferred that the CI is some kind of tool for cultural genocide. As far a drilling holes in babies heads. The cochlear resides in the skull. The surgeons are just going were that organ (The Cochlear) happens to be.

why not just quote my actual words don't you think that will better for this discussion?
i have stated indeed that CI and the combined system of CI/AO/AVT/LSL,AGB. and the policies and actions of the professionals in all mentioned, Deny Sign language to Deaf babies and Deaf children by policy and action. and these actions by design demand that Deaf children be kept away from other Deaf children so that they "do not revert back to being Deaf".nor do they even deny such, actually they are proud of it, given their statements. educate yourself.

if you deny they do such,
and have evidence at all that they do NOT actually Deny sign language to deaf babies, by policy and action in any of the above mention or the professional apparatus associated with them also does not.
then now is the time

Ii is about taking full benefit of the CI. They are encouraged to use it as much as possible so the brain will adapt to it (just like a HA). This same anxiety was voiced When HAs first came out. Like it or not the majority of the world communicates via spoken language. Jobs, School & just plain life.

Um,, the high unemployment levels are seen with speech skilled deaf too. It's not just people who sign exclusively or who attended Deaf Schools. Most kids who sign, also speak, and most Deaf schools/dhh programs offer a very hefty dose of speech/HOH interventions.
 
I'm just Hoy and I can't tell how much of put out some days are. Half the time my wife has to be my ears. There have been so many situations where life would have just been simpler without this problem.

you do not deny they DENY sign language to Deaf babies sand children,

denying a language and working towards the end of the demise of a language is one the pillars of what it is known as colonialism.
it is a practice of is cultural ethnocide.

and we are very much opposed to the actions of the above stated entities in working towards a world of no Deaf.
yes we are very much opposed to that.

YES we have had this very same plm and have resisted oralism since its inception..

we do not accept your dictate of like it or not.
