Hello
I teach English at a university in Berlin. Thus far I have had little experience teaching deaf students. However, I am currently teaching a two week intensive, intermediate English course (6 hours a day) and two of the students are deaf. They attend with two transcribers who write (via computer) down what is discussed in class. Mostly the two deaf students follow the discussion via the computer and discuss through sign language with each other what the rest of us are talking about. I would like to include them more in the broader activities and discussions of the class, but this is new to me.
A video or series might be interesting (provided subtitles are available) and we even though we have access to a large video library, I haven't come up with any suitable titles. Tips, ideas, etc would be greatly appreciated!
