What do you think of this.. ? Should this be banned or not?


I think it is just harmless game.. I played that game when i was young.. I had fun playing and playing.. running and all that.. it s good excerise???

I dont know about TJ's school.... not sure if the tag is banned there or not....

You got to be kidding me? I personally think the principal is going a bit overboard on this by banning tag game, we all know that accidents do happen when children are playing on the playground at school or at a park, I understand that they want to keep children from cracking their heads open, but there has to be a place where they can get out and run by having fun...It's like IF a child fell off a swing or merry-go-round and end up getting serious hurt, and what about sports such as football, etc are they going to ban that too? I mean come on, sometimes children are going to have accidents and all they have to do is be careful and not to play too rough etc...They can't expect to ban things just to keep children safe, it doesn't work that way....They got to learn to be careful while playing on the playground, in sports etc....Let's kids have their fun!!...
 
I've heard of that before. I am not surprised. It'll happen everywhere. I remember there was one place in Juneau, Alaska -- one manager removed a playground at trailer park area. That manager don't want to be responsible for any injury, if a child gets hurt. And, now you got this article -- nothin' is really new. Sad, huh ?
 
I think I know why cannot play Tag's game. Because of sexual harrassment.
Samething in here my son's school have strict rule. They are not allow to touch any student no matter what. Also they are not allow holding hand too.
I have notice school have alots of change than before. The school is afraid of suing.
 
Right, but when is enough is enough??? If stupid rules keep popping up, soon, our kids can't bring pens and paper to school cause they can write on someone and give someone a papercut. This law suing needs to stop. We need to let the kids be kids and parents need to be parents. To me, it not the kids that are a problem, there are parents that don't care and don't want to raise their kids. That is the reason why we get those rules. Why should a parent raise a kid when they can sue someone and have them raise our kids with their money!!!! Come on, get real and wake-up.
 
Yep, it is parents problem. I have same problem with my son in school. They have alots of stupid rule . Because they were afraid of suing.
Kids are Kids. That is the way is. Kids doesn't understand the rule. The school expect them to be grow up not being let them be a kids.

One time my son came home from school and one kid was bully to my son. My husband called at school. They say they didn't know about bully my son and they knew what is wrong. They were trying to sweep under the carpet and act like nothing happen. They are afraid of being sued. I don't expect money for suing. I expect school to be safe. Let kids be kids.

As a Tag's game is nothing wrong with me. I have seen some boy like to tag girl's butt and they doing for fun. I did play tag game long time ago, it was fun.
