I just heard about this....its a condition where a person 'hears' somethin but 'sees' the sound in color.

Sounds weird,...any of you ever experienced this?

That reminds me of the somatosensory phenomena in implanted adults.

Because these implanted adults grew up deaf, their brains wire some of the hearing functions with feeling functions. This means that some implantees who have been deaf all their lives first feel the sounds they hear. After a while things return to normal.

It's a very interesting phenomenon.

::raises hand:: I've experienced synaesthia.

I got implanted two years ago and every time I heard a car drive by, I'd see an arc of lime green. it's strange, but awesome!
