was never suspended, however two buddies of mine from my old high school had in-school suspension for a day for pulling a false alarm.
They were chatting few minutes before the bell rang and somehow they were just playing around with the fire alarm (the school's pretty much old so usually some fire alarms won't work) and one of my friends thought if she pulled it, it probably wouldn't go off so they both put their hands on the fire alarm and pulled it. Well, they were wrong since it went off and made the entire school evacuate because it was not planned. Police officers and firemens came and was in the building checking every room while everyone was out in the freezing cold for like an half hour. Finally we came back in the room to see the Principal, VP and few officers in the room waiting for someone to confess who pulled the alarm..those two people admitted that they did pull the alarm but wasn't intended to do it on purpose. They got lucky for only one day in-school suspension but that was a big shock to some of us who witnessed it. :-\
