CBS released the official lineup for Survivor: Palau today. This season starts with 20 contestants, and the rumor mill has it that three contestants will get the boot on the premier episode.

The lineup

"Survivor: Palau" premieres February 17.

Noooooooo!! :pissed: I am going to miss the first show since I'm going out of town for another rib cook-off show!!! :tears:

We’ll tape it for you! :thumb: We have every episode of every season on tape. :)

^Angel^, Cheri...

If you girls need a back up for taping the show, I'm there! I'm a HUGE Survivor fan, myself! So, let me know what you ladies need, and if I can be of assistance, I'll sure try! :)

Another Survivor show!? Good grief!

And of course history will repeat itself and there will be no one who knows how to make fire, least of all an ex-Seal.
Jeez, gimme a break.

That is so sweet Oceanbreeze and Levonian I am also huge Survivor fan, I watched all of them.

I always wanted to be on Survivors too myself, but afraid I'll be getting voted out before I make it to the final two. :(

I have wrote to the Producer of Survivor show CBS, and suggest if they would have a 16 deaf castaways just for deaf people only. I have not gotten a respond yet from them.

CSUN students

I noticed a student from CSUN was on Survivor last year... in the fall season.
I think her name was Julie, she was dating the host Jeff Probst.

And now CBS Survivor will have another CSUN student on there,
her name Jennifer.

I was hoping there will be more disability people and more minority
people on this show.

I read in CBS.com, about one of the contestants, Coby was a criminal.

Wow, this will be an interesting season.

That’s cuz Jiffy can’t learn ASL.

Coby "the sexist man" was a criminal? I never heard of that one.

Remember Christy Smith, who was the only deaf person on Survivor show, Well she was voted out earlier, just because people never gave her a chance to know her or communicate with her, She never lied once or cheated, She played really well. It would be nice to see Deaf 16 castaways just to be fair, Cuz I didn't think Christy got a fair role while with those hearing group.

Umm....Christy was voted off in 6th place. But yes, I do remember soo fondly of how well she did, with all the difficulties she faced with...her "evil stepsisters" and most of the cast on that show.

Course....there's one person that us deafies and sympathetic hearies may appreciate:

http://www.cbs.com/primetime/survivor10/survivors/bio/tom.shtml

(Only issue I have, though, with him is that he had a CI placed in his daughter at just 2 years, but...least she's being mainstreamed)

That Coby dude looks like he should be dating Michael Jackson—except Jackson doesn’t do adults. I see an early boot. Likewise with Jolanda—she looks way too pushy. I bet she gets her ass booted real fast too.

I like that idea! lol

I've been to Palau a few times. It's a fantastic place, and the locals have a strong relationship to the ocean. Friendly and very social locals, according to my mother. Has very strong Japanese influence, and some warcraft leftovers from WW1/2. Paradise for scuba divers. Not to mention I have dozens of relatives living there either... :)

I guess the Survivors will have to fish a lot for their meals? Heh...
