wow, very interesting how to defend yourself from bear attack... I would not do that... :cold:

If the law permitted the weapons in the National Park or others, I'll bring one to defend myself from the animal attack.

I think I will just stay away from anywhere that has bears!

thanks to GWB - he repealed the law that federal bans the firearms in national parks. :cool2:

YIKES! Scary...I don't know if I can handle that! Bear ohh too scary!

You could also bring bear repellant, too. I'm not sure if that's efficent enough.

it's ineffective if the bear's very angry and charging toward you. that's why my friend's friends carried guns with hollow point rounds for animal. it saved their life in Pennsylvania.

GUess playing dead isn't an option either. My arm would be missing for sure.

One things about bears, if they hear you far away, (most of the time and depend on the breed)they move away from you. Thats why they tell hikers to wear a bell with them.

When you surprise a bear, that is where the trouble begin.

There's another idea of how to survive a bear attack is when you could sing to the bear...

"Row, row, row your boat
Hug, hug, hug your bear
Squeeze him very tight
Hold him high
Help him fly
Then hug with all your might"

:giggle:

Bears belong to wildnerness not us. It is us who destroy them alike feed them with foods and make them into depend on us. Rangers ended up had to shoot them if they become aggressive. And the rangers also give people ticket for feeding them. It is major headache here in forests.

I happened met a baby bear on the lake, he was so hungry and steal fish the fishermen caught from lake. He was scared of us but we follow rangers' rule stay away from him.

lol Seq well they did say anyplace where a bear is lol and here is a "bear"
