Supreme Court Bolsters Domestic Violence Gun Ban Law

I really don't know at this point whether it is a good judgement or not.

It is kinda of molesting 2nd Amendment (The infringement part). The problem I am seeing here is, a misdemeanor domestic violence offender as a reason for barring a free man from bearing arms? I only support felony, or more serious offense, but not misdemeanor. BUT again what does not makes sense is that their classification for domestic violence seems to conflict when it comes to deadly force or by violent. If it is done by violence or with deadly force then misdemeanor? :hmm:

That law needs seriously overhaul and clarification.

What I mean is that if Domestic violence involves any deadly force, using of any kind of weapon with intent to injury Misdemeanor is WRONG classification, it should be Felony. What the judge sounded like "Any kind of Domestic violence" would bar one from bearing arms seems to be excessive. I know some domestic violence never involve injury or physical threats and that is misdemeanor.

many domestic violence cases begins with argument and then it always escalate into physical violence involving guns and firearms later on.

in misdemeanor DV case... I think the firearms should be surrendered for a certain period of time.
