GO BACK AND READ.. Thats the third time i have asked people to check the link, and apparently people have not done so before complaining. Wikipedia clearly stated that they were quoting a salon.com article, while providing a link to two other articles with similar information. While Wikipedia can be easily editable, that specific article has a VERY extensive list of links, which are from reputable sources. The three links in question are here here and here

From every thing i read, Casey's father has not made any public statements. In the mean time Cindy has stated that he is 'on the same page'. So if you are going to make such statements, please provide back up, since I provided information to the contrary before you posted.

Other wise, you are promoting a lie.

as for another statement by irishmandan, I wish to clarify..

apparently, you had issue with my previous statement..

"Calling people names when they speak up is called an ad hominem attack. it only shows the weakness of your own position. Showing pictures of 'liberalism is a mental disorder' only shows how much you are NOT talking about the soldiers, but instead dismissing every thing and everybody that is not 'pro-bush'. This is not about Bush. This is not about liberalism. Its about the soldiers. "

I stated 'showing pictures', which referred to a posting by redeus. I lumped both of your ad hominem attacks together, in an effort to save time. It appears it made my statement unclear.

In case you did not see, redeus provided two pictures equating liberals with the terrorists and the mentally ill. Off point, and insulting. Your post used words, but used 'pathetic' 'ding dong', (3 times) "shames her family", associates with 'lunatic whack jobs' 'deluded' and 'nut'.

I appreciate discussion, but such words were, and remain insulting. It adds nothing to discussion, while doing everything to slander her.

I can and do respect those who disagree with the protest. But using false statements and ad hominem attacks does not further arguments. Unfortunately, this has been almost a trademark of a specific type of political people in recent times. While it works, it doesn't exactly make anybody look good.
