I am in mood to play classic game: SNES. What the best game I should start to play? These games are soooo cheap I could buy at GameStop. :D

Try Killer Instinct! I love that game. I actually own that game!

excellent idea, I just feel like I want to play Mario's again.
Don't forget the Super Mario Brothers Collection. They re-released the original series, but with better graphics and animation. Even the background moves in a realistic manner! Get that! :thumb:

I just played Super Metroid on Super Nes afew days ago...it's kinda hard though.

that game is 10 years old and still works just fine lol but I have alot of Nintendo 64 games for my N64 so I kinda loved my N64 more than super nes.

I only have 5 games for super nes...donkey kong country, donkey kong country 2, killer instinct, addlain, and super metroid...oh well.

thank for remind me. I need to play Super Metroid. I never actually finish whole thing.

I hadn't played much SNES games 10 years ago because I was a "Sega Man" myself and played the Sega Genesis a lot than I did for the SNES.

I chose to play the Genesis because at the time Nintendo censored their games with the worst example being the original Mortal Kombat. When Mortal Kombat came out for the SNES and Genesis, blood was available on the Genesis version compared to sweat on the SNES version. (and another was the lack of top shelf racing titles on the Nintendo like Lotus Challenge and Virtua Racing that Sega had for the Genesis) How the times had changed a lot since Nintendo now allows M-rated games on the GCN and N64.

Hmmmm that might inspire me to pick up a Sega Genesis/Saturn and a SNES at Game Heaven (the local game store in Knoxville where I bought my xbox) to go back to the good old video game days and besides give me daughter and stepson a huge history lesson in videogaming ;)

If I was playing SNES games I'd go for Super Mario 4 and F-Zero along with Super Street Fighter II and Donkey Kong Country.

Because you were a bad boy who need blood and sweat than rather play quanity game. ;)

Hmm...Super Street Fighter II seem boreto me. Street Fight Alpha 2 is awesome. Amazing thing is... it running much faster than Saturn on Street Fight Alpha 2.

I still own Donkey Kong Country, still sw33t game ever!

Yeah right and Im still playing Halo and I haven't ended up in Jail for murder of Grunts, Elites and Hunters in the 1st Degree!

it's just weird that most games in the goold old days were subtitles while present days games since the dreamcast came out were now using voices, and subtitles were no longer needed, and the deaf ppl didn't bitch about that back then but now we are bitching at them including capcom and bungie to put subtitles in games they make lol so we can play them and understand what the heck is going on and stuff like that

Dat true. Remember the old consoles didn't have enough memory for sound processing in the cartidges that would enable voices until the age of the CD-ROM games that started with the Sega CD and Turbo-Grafx 16/Turbo CD systems. That was the most reason why there were more subtitling with the older systems than with the PS2, xbox and GCN.

Man, over 32 years of video game technology sure shows! After all Moore was right when he outlined Moore's Law on computer technology and obsolence.

that's why I enjoy mostly on SNES.

I am such addict on Street Fight Alpha 2!

ahh.. cartridge is better than CD.

More speed-load and wonderful games for SNES. I never forget Super Mario RPG which is neat-o and fun!

yep I wish Nintendo still make games for Nintendo 64. :(

Well Nintendo just released a combination of NES, SNES and N64 into one console called the iQue for the Chinese market this month. but the kicker is that Nintendo just got the comeuppance on the Chinese because China is pretty notorious for piracy of movies, softwares, etc.

What Nintendo did was to make iQue fit into a N64-size controller and sold the console with only ONE memory card that is good for just one game. The card is unique only to the console it is sold with and can't be transferred to another console.

Buyers can pick one game from the store and have it loaded on the memory card to take home and play on the Chinese market console. Want another game? you have to take the memory card back to the store and have the old game exchanged for a new game on the memory card.

More information on the iQue: http://www.play-asia.com/paOS-17-74-c5-88-c.html

Sony also launched the PS2 in China too but I have a feeling that Sony is going to take a HUGE beating there because of China's rampant piracy problem.

I read an article on video game piracy on another website years ago. They had interesting methods of recreating various systems. They managed to put 100 NES games and 100 SNES games onto CDs plus making a special CD that plays your CDs.
