My hearing aid similar to SUMO DM's

Can people with this aid hearing the phone ringing?
Can you also hear other sounds? Can you tell me what you can hear?

I can hear speech but not understandable(that's what my ci is for)
 
Whether or not one can hear the phone ringing depends on the phone's ring frequency as well as the person's hearing loss. When I had severe-profound hearing loss and wore my Oticon 380Ps, I could hear my amplified phone ringing (90 dB low frequency ring tone) in the same room. (Note that I kept my amplified phone since I was considering a CI.)
 
Well when I first got my new HA I could hear the phone ring.
But that might just be the case of my HA needs adjusting. I'v got a hearing test for my HA on the 28th. Hopefully then they'll tell me how I'm doing.
 
In what frequency does your phone ring? (high, medium, low) Is it a cell phone that plays a song when it rings?
 
My HA's is on near to the max volume and i still struggle to hear sounds LOL
 
You'll need to get it adjusted by your audi asap...I'm due to get mine adjusted soon. :)

This brand is one of the most powerful hearing aids in the world.
