Hello! My name is Jodi and I am a student interpreter in the Omaha area. I have only taken a few ASL classes so far, but I am a quick learner and already getting really good. I am married with two sons, 7 and 8 yrs old. I live in Papillion, Ne. I would love to find some other people who want to practice ASL with me. I want to make sure I don't forget signs while I am out of school. I would also be interested if anyone needs an interpreter on a part time basis in the evening hours or on weekends. I am more than willing to help. Email me for more info jhoke_csm@yahoo.com

Hello and welcome. I used to live in Bellevue and was actually married in Papillion (at the court house). Small world, isn't it? I don't know much ASL right now as I am new to hearing loss. I have maybe 20 signs under my belt, but will add more as I go. This is a good place to be, to learn and to grow.

Hi :welcome: to AllDeaf forum. There should be lot of Deaf people there in Omaha, Nebraska. Check out at the Hearing Society and ask if there is any Deaf Club or Deaf event like Deaf Social. Good luck. I hope you enjoy reading and posting all the threads here. Have fun with us. See you around.
