Also, I was rambling on about the days of past, now ^Angel^ and I have been doing this as well, it's nice knowing that we have some good fresh corn frozen up and waiting for us to sink our mouths into!  We use freezer-storage bags which is handy as well as it doesn't take up too much space in the freezer.
