Oh, I love just about ALL of Stephen King's books except for the Gunslinger series.

"IT" was my all round favourite as I read it more than 20 times. Read it again recently, last month. Never will get tired of that book!

As for movie....hmm...I would say 'Carrie' and 'Cujo'.

You shouldn't pass judgement until you've tried reading his books! I believe his books are way better than the movies, I must admit. Yes, SOME movies made from some of his books were GOOD...like 'The Stand', 'Carrie', 'IT', 'FireStarter', DeadZone', 'The Langoliers' (from the book '4 Past Midnight')...'The Shining' was scary especially with Jack Nicholson, he did a great job! Better than the remake years later with Steven Weber (from 'Wings' on TV).

I believe the books are well done...I mean I can visualise a lot of things King describes in the storyline...it's incredible! You got to have a very good imagination! :)

I didnt know they made a movie of the book Cujo, I wonder how they did that since the book was more pyschological than physical action. you go into the minds of the character........ I got to check it out!!!

yes ur rite. :)

speaking of 'the shining' we have two the shining movies.

one is theatre and other is tv series. i remmy i saw small article that stephen king was not happy with the first movie and he wanted to re do the second 'the shining' for tv by his own ideas not the director's.

please refresh me if i am wrong.

Yeah, it was made in the early 80's. With Dee Wallace Stone (the woman who played the mother in the movie, she also played a mother in E.T.) and Danny Pintauro (the boy from 'Who's the Boss? tv series with Alyssa Milano) as Tad, the son in the movie.
The movie Cujo was very, very, VERY good! I give it :thumb: :thumb: :thumb: !
