The reason: When I wear hearing aids they work ideally when there is little, to no ambient noise around. They are not that great in a noisy area. We are outside kind of people and especially on the water which means no hearing aids for me. Other instances of problems are situational up to and including right now, since our dog ate one, and the other one stopped working.
I did find the thread with the ASL links posted and thank you for that! My wife and children have agreed to learn some basic ASL with a possibility of being able to hold full conversations to help with the loss of communication with me.
So my question is. What have you all used in practices to help learn the language? I know repetition works best for me. Is there fun games that you did with friends or family? Quizes or maybe word games?
