Hello folks,

My friend told me that she had some experiences with no voice/data coverage between Northern Frederick, MD and Breezewood, PA. She travelled through Breezewood, PA from Washington/Baltimore area on I-70 road. When she reached Breezewood, PA, she finally got signal.

On different mobile forum, he told me that he had different Sprint phone and got signal for that area without any problem. I am figuring out why 8703e did not get signal but other Sprint cell phone got signal in the same area. Both are digital dual-band phone.

I looked into Sprint national coverage and noticed that it has coverage for that area. When I zoomed closer, I noticed that dotted greens west of Frederick area that means roaming coverage. Then I checked Breezewood, PA for coverage, it has dotted greens - roaming coverage area.

Does anyone have any solution for coverage problems? Updating PRL database, etc.

Thanks!
Tim

hum, try to reset that device or shut it off and turn it on again. maybe it will find the network right away. i dont have a experience with sprint or verizon 's network because i know what to do with my device with SIM card which att and tmobile provide that type for GSM network.

for instance if my device doesnt find GSM network, i have to turn it off and remove SIM card off and wait for a minute then put it back and turn the mobile on. it wud find the network right away.

Roaming coverage doesn't necessarily include data coverage. In any case, your friend should contact her Sprint salesperson to answer her questions.

There is another way. If your device been rebooted and still have signal problem. You can tell Sprints that you have coverage problem (if you are inside the coverage area). Tell them to check specific location themselves. They will bring out equipment and check the signal strength. If problem discovered. They will either fix or add Cellular antenna there.
