South Korea Ferry Disasters over 200 People Missing

Video has CC. Most of the people are students. How tragic that another horrible accident happen and the missing place has not been found yet. :(
 
What a horrific tragedy. I can't imagine what these parents are going through right now.

I know , I saw this on the news and is so heartbreaking to see the parents . I hate watching the news lately , the news been so terrible. :(

I agree so I take breaks from watching the news. It can make a person severely depressed if we dwell on all sad and negative press. There are days I watch no tv, but I find out what happened that day when I read posts here on AD.

So many families affected by all these disasters! Very sad....
 
An absolute nightmare for the families! :(

The captain of the ferry was at the least negligent. He didn't even deploy the life boats! Also, he abandoned ship while passengers were still onboard! Totally wrong!

Let's hope that there are survivors in air pockets that can be rescued in time.

I heard on the news the ferry did tip over fast there would be more air pockets so people would have a better chance of surviving . I am hoping this be the case. That is disgusting that captain abandoned , what a coward he is! He should be put out to sea in a leaking boat with out lifejacket or life boats.
 
The ferry was in trouble for half a hour before people where told to abandoned it. People lost time getting off before it tipped over . This is
manslaughter to me.
 
There is an arrest warrant out for the captain of the ferry . Now why aren't
I surprise about this.
 
It's odd feel when know someone made it after thought they're gone.

I heard the when the captain was being checked out by a doctor he said he was one of the passenger on the ferry. The SOB did not have the guts to say he was the captain . His punishment should be leaving him a sinking rowboat in the middle of the ocean.

Yeah, that was the teacher (or one of the teachers) of the students. He was too grief stricken to live, and left a note saying that he hopes that in the afterlife he'll be able to be a teacher to the students who died on the ferry.

:( How tragic . Over 200 people dies and most of them where students and I think it was students from one school and I saw on the news the school was empty not one kid was in the hallway.
