Theorically, up to 252 computers can be connected! That is if you know how to do that, and what the chance are you going to have this much computers and device hooked up at any given time?


Why it is theorically? simple put, the IP address pool on 192.168.0.X  and X represent a number between zero and 254, Can not use zero or 254 because they are loop back IP address. then 1 is reserve for router this leaves 252 available NAT IP addresses. So in other word, the available IP addresses is from 192.168.0.2 to 192.168.0.253.


Remember the simple rule, can not have 4 switches in same line.
