That is true and to think that having the disability like deafness, blindness, Down Syndrome and handicapped is like a death in the family. They have got to learn to face reality to think positive. Nothing to be ashame of. 
My mother refused to try hearing aid when she was having problem with her hearing loss. I really don't know why the big deal she refused to do with the hearing aid anyway. I was forced to wear hearing aid and I don't like it but I still wear one on my left ear just for environment sounds. :roll:
