My dad goes out to lunch every day with his friends. He is 65 and the only one out of a 11 person group that doesnt have a hearing aid. When my ex was working as a deaf advocate she was hoping maybe some of the old men would want to become clients but they dont want to be in deaf culture just need hearing aids to amplify is all.With annoying things that make sound like microwave or kids toys I cover speaker part with clear packing tape and it muffles sound. Sound is still there but much less annoying.
