but I am a student studying deaf education in Florida and I was hoping to meet people and emerge myself more in the deaf culture :) I am also always looking for practice if anyone would ever be patient enough to sign with me :)
Anyways, HI!!! I'm Ashley, I'm 19, and I go to Flagler College.

Usually FSDB welcomes Flagler Students to work or volunteer their time, to be able to interact with the students.

I have made many Flagler friends during my time at FSD.

So seek in that area.

You will find many students signing up to learn more about ASL and Deaf culture over the next few months. :)

The OP did not ask for an email. Not that I have seen. The one you are speaking of just outright gave it to her.

No, it just odd to ask someone to "e-mail [them]" without introducing who they are on a forum... or even greeting the topic creator's first post.

I actually do plan on volunteering over at FSDB. I'm a nanny for some people who work there so I try to go to events and such for social interaction.
