damn, you must be blasted w cold winter up there.. it is supposed to be 85 today but dropping to 58 tomorrow. I hear rumors abt snow on Fri/Sat. i Hope not.

yea...
i keep getting calls from our kids.. at school that they really wanted go home.. said alot teachers are absent.. I dont understand this lol..
why not they have fun activites like in gym or audtorium to watch something.. like my time (80's) we had similar.. had winter storm hitting worse during the day.. we stayed in.. we had fun .. go library, audtorium, gym..etc.. :/ how sad..

eh

No way! I certainly do not want snow in Ohio, :Ohno: It has been raining for past few days now, currently temp is 68 degrees, Hear it was supposed to snow tomorrow, Thursday and Friday temp supposed to go down also to 35 degrees, I pray that it doesn't happen.

yeah it's crash on my hometown.. same as DoofusMama it's 34 degree here.. i heard it will go to east pounding for the LAST winter snowstorm and start spring!

Babe, the blue ox is near Doofus' area and will rescue her children and bring them safely home!

Oh my my......

Recent wknd was extremelly SPRING weather to me.. Just I woke jacket and nice...
your wknd was snow thunderstorm.. Pretty interesting different distance away state from canada.. (hmmmm) wow.. Nice looking outside. Wonder kids are playing outside ?

Today is Heavy dogs and cats pouring here since yesterday... Outside looks icky muddy all over around..

Same as here, I got slammed by snow storm... My brother's school is closed.... unfortently legislature is still on but I decided to stay home instead because I saw on the news that buses have problems with getting on the hill, and there were accidents among the buses, so it is safer to stay home. My paratransit call every riders that they decided not to run, for good reason. Weather in Minnesota is very weird, its like moody rollercoaster, last week it was spring-like weather but now back to winter :( I hate snow but oh well..

yeah it snowed here too but not as bad as twin cities!!!! im sooo glad im home safely from hudson, wi last night on way home to 2 hr west of minneapolis. WHEW! :)

:eek3: No thanks! I don't want any snow! :thumb: We probably will get some this week..we also got real nice weather for few days...today is in 60's and tomorrow probably in 30's!!! What a dumb weather!

So sowwy about having the kids go school today. I am sure they'll have fun play in the snow after school.

The pictures are beautiful!

"As of 10:30 a.m., Metro Transit had reports of 120 stuck buses during the morning rush. No injuries were reported. In addition, the light-rail line was running 15 to 20 minutes behind schedule, partly because of broken cross guards caused by vehicles skidding into them. The trains cannot run if the guards are broken, officials said"- Pioneer Press article

Passengers of an east bound Route 63 MTC bus try to help push and shovel out the bus after it got stuck at the corner of Grand Ave and Chatsworth Street enroute to downtown St. Paul. Despite their efforts, the bus remained stuck and the passengers had to continue their ride on another bus.

Snow snarls Metro Transit bus service

Wet, heavy snow falling quickly during rush hour snarled Metro Transit bus operations more severly than at any time in the last ten years officials said Monday.

"The good news is, Metro Transit got virtually all its buses and trains out this morning for it's customers," said Metro Transit spokeswoman Julie Johansen, noting "We had about 663 buses on the street in the morning rush hour."

But of those, 120 were stuck by slippery streets.
Eleven tow truck were kept busy pulling buses back to where their tires could find traction.

Not since the infamous Halloween storm of 1991, when the Twin Cities received 28 inches of snow in 24 hours, have so many buses had to be pulled out of ditches and off highway medians.

Spokesperson Johanson says Metro Transit provides rides for 250,000 people every day.

yea i live out in the country in saint Joe and they don't plow the roads so i had a fun time getting to school today lol i didn't take pictures but our out door pond was really frozen we had to break the ice so the fish didn't die

Wow, thats crazy to getting snow storm to causing the cars and buses to being stuck.

By the way, beautiful pictures DoofusMama!

That was sooo suprising to see the cars; vehicle crashes on the road too many times -- about least 200 crashes this day.

Also, there are about 414 vehicle off the road. WOW! :eek3:

I was praying to god yesterday for this day, I don't want to school today, but it was happened! It really working! Thanks the lord! :)
