Snapchat users beware: someone has posted the phone numbers and usernames of more than 4.6 million accounts on the site SnapchatDB, freely available as an SQL dump or CSV text file for anyone to download. The last two digits of each phone number have been censored “in order to minimize spam and abuse,” but the owner of the database says that “under certain circumstances,” the site might be willing to release the uncensored records.

Not good about it. Never put phone number on DB for preventing hackers.

It's not only Snapchat, folks

Right but your statement needs a little bit of an update. Our phone numbers are available on various websites already. You just might have to pay a few bucks to obtain them and if you're a hacker, you don't have to pay a dime. Welcome to the world of big brother.

This is nothing compared to what else can easily be done. Besides my own work in IT for too many years, I have a close relative who works in the gov't trying to close the gap on international hackers.
