Sledding is being banned in some cities

I don't see how cities can be held responsible for people getting hurt while sledding . It's a risk the person is taking . It's getting harder each day to have fun a kid.

I couldn't get the CC to work. Instead of banning it, encourage everyone to wear helments while sledding. Recently seen a picture on my FB a mom had her kids wearing one. Kids gonna get hurt. It's a fact of life. Whats next? Banning swimming at beaches/lakes? Banning trampolines? Everything comes with a risk.

Blame on greedy insurance industry. Sad! I had my best days with sledding, that was back in good days of '70's.

greed? I don't see how it's a greed since nobody is profiting from it except hospitals.

would you like to see your tax money being spent on these injuries?

*Objection*

Litigation happy society that doesn't like to take responsibility for their actions especially if the can get zillions of $$ from somebody.

sledging bad but carry gun is ok.....rough and tumble is good for kids and familiies gets out fresh air exercise, you can break bones on anything so enjoy reason and feel sorry for self afterwards society got stop making people feeble and isolated

Only one time when my sister (hearing) took a risk on sledding and ran almost right into the fence. She had a black eye from it. I don't remember going sledding myself. Maybe I did. I must be lucky. I am older than my sister. I used to do sledding at my sister's age back then. I love sledding. Just fun. :)

I agree with JillyBean with risks on account of insurance and probably get sued from neighbors or strangers. I don't know. :dunno:

My insurance policy for my condo wanted to know if I had a trampoline in my house , b/c that would cost extra. I have one but I don't use it anymore. Yeah bathtubs should be banned too b/c people fall in them all the time. I think bricks sidewalks should be banned , you can trip one lose brick or crack brick. I know a woman that did and fell and broke an arm.

I suspect Whitney didn't give him much, or anything, in her Will and he was milking Bobbi for all the money he could get through her. It's looking more like murder than drugs that's responsible for her condition.

:( This is very sad and tragic , Bobbie grew up around drugs and booze so that is all she really know.

And domestic abuse, sadly. Poor thing didn't have much of a start in life...

I agree and I know this not really importance but I can't help but notice nothing done to correct Bobbie teeth . It was not like her parents couldn't afford it so I can't help but wonder how much attention she did get as a child.

They weren't married, so I'd be really surprised if Whitney left him anything.

I agree, something sounds fishy about the whole bathtub scenario. If he drowned her, too bad he wasn't smart enough to leave her face-up. That's what they're looking at now. But I digress, there's so much that hasn't been given out yet.
